7 Most Beautifully Decorated Mosques in Pakistan

27th of Ramadan is widely regarded as Shab-e-Qadr in Pakistan and various other Muslim countries. It is also called Laylat al-Qadr or Night of Destiny. It is the night when the first verses of Holy Quran were revealed to Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.). Shab-e-Qadr is one of the odd nights of the last 10 days of Ramadan and praying on Shab-e-Qadr is better than 1000 months of worship.

This is the night when sins are forgiven, prayers are accepted and angels are descend to earth. People stay awake whole night praying and seeking the blessings of Almighty.

Muslims in Pakistan not only offer night-long prayers but also celebrate odd nights of last ten days of Ramadan by decorating masajid (mosques) and streets. Some of the beautifully decorated mosques in Pakistan are shown below.
