Muslims in This Village are Building Church for Christians

Gojra is an administrative Tehsil in Toba Tek Singh District in Punjab, Pakistan. This Tehsil has several small towns and villages around it where Muslims and Christians are living together. Unlike many metropolitan cities in Pakistan, Non-Muslims do not have their separate colonies, on the contrary, they live together with Muslims.

Muslims from one such town in Gojra are building a Church for Christians. Muslims collected money from each other in order to build a Church for Christians residents of their village. They have collected Rs. 50,000 so far to build St. Joseph Church in their village. One of the Muslims residents of this village said that Muslims have had their mosque since long, our Christian brothers must also have their church.

This village has set an example of co-existence and what they are doing for each other sends a powerful message to the rest of the country.
